Hi friends,
I am a nonprofit and I am trying to figure out how to create a social networking site for my members and volunteers on a budget. Do you know where we could get some help with this? Any recommendation will be appreciated.

There are many free social networking programs available under the GPL Licence ( http://www.gnu.org/copyleft/gpl.html )
A good place to look would be a website called sourceforge which can be found at the following location:
http://sourceforge.net/
A lot of people tend to use one of the ones listed under the GPL or GNU licence and then employ someone to redesign the website to suit their own requirements
This is a much more cost effective way of creating a social networking website,
