I have used HTML, free templates before but although i can edit PSD templates easily using photoshop i don't know what to do with them then! How do you convert them into a web page?

If the template is just an image you will need to load it into Photoshop and use the slice tool to cut up the various sections like buttons and menus and then export it as html, this will generate a html and css file which can then be edited by hand using something as simple as notepad.

Under the file tab select "save for web and devices" optimize the images using the pannel on the right and then save, but change the "save as type" box to HTML & Images. This will generate a html file and a folder containg the various images.

I hope this helps
Kind Regards
Paul
