- 80% of advertisers surveyed says Search Engine Optimization (SEO) as most popular mode of search engine marketing (SEM).
- 59% see direct sales as primary objective.
- 53% uses SEM for brand awareness.
More of the internet advertising is spent on lead/sales generation rather than brand awareness.
