Domain Kiting - An abuse of the Domain Name System

Domain kiting is a method of registering millions of domain names without paying for them. There remains a loophole in the domain registration system where a registered domain name can be cancelled by a registrar within 6 days with a full refund. Some domain registrars use this loophole to register millions of domain names which might have any value and block them from registration by others. Then they cancel the domains and re-register them again.
The term 'Domain Kiting' seems to be coined by the GoDaddy.com founder Bob Parsons and the article [Article Link] provides more information.
