Hosting Coupons?

I recently came across a discount code mentioned in a Yahoo answers post.. 25OFF for hosting24.com I tried the code and it worked but before I commit to anything i'd like to know..
Is there a central location for hosting coupons? I would be interesting in starting up a website for listing them or something.. Would this be useful? or a waste of my time?
Coupon codes is a good idea and it's the first i've really heard about them, have they been used for a long time or is it a new thing?

Listing of coupons for web hosting is surely a useful venture, go for it.
WebsiteGear has been working on providing a service for hosting providers to list and advertise their services and products to customers. That will include discount coupons and any deals that they offer. It will also allow a better way to search for coupons as well as read information about the web hosting provider. Till then they are using our classifieds section under web hosting.
